Enjoy the Game and Let them Play!

All game officials, managers, coaches, players and spectators ("participants") are expected to treat each other with respect. Any participant failing to observe the following rules will be asked by the Umpire and/or Convenor to leave the ballpark. Failure to leave will result in the forfeiture of their child’s game (if applicable).

A follow-up meeting with the appropriate Rep/Select or House League Convenor, Convenor-in-Chief and/or ASMBA Ombudsman will be convened to determine the severity of the violation and the resulting settlement. Penalties could include a fine or suspension of the offender’s child.

The committee’s ruling will be final!

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Excessive verbal abuse to players, coaches or game officials.
  • Threatening or pushing players, coaches, game officials, or league officials.
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the ballpark before, during or after the game.
  • Disruption of the game by causing arguments or altercations with other spectators in the ball-park.
  • Entering the player bench area for the purpose of verbally or physically abusing the players or coaches.
